Founding and Growth of Khalid Ahmed Fakhroo’s Companies:

    We began with Al Fajr Company in 1984, focusing on construction, maintenance, and infrastructure development. Al Fajr quickly became known for its commitment to excellence, delivering projects that supported Qatar’s growth. In 1990, we expanded into Al Huda Company, focusing on architectural design and urban development. This venture helped shape Qatar’s architectural landscape, blending functionality with cultural and environmental considerations. In 1994, we established Julpharco in the tiling and satinary sector, assuming full ownership in 2018. Julpharco has become a key player in the supply and installation of high-quality sanitary ware and tiles, offering comprehensive solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Arcon, founded in 2001, focuses on architectural consultancy and project management, playing a crucial role in managing complex construction projects and contributing to Qatar’s urban development. In 2002, we launched Waves Trading & Contracting to meet the growing demand for reliable contracting services. Waves has delivered high-quality residential, commercial, and industrial projects, becoming a trusted partner in Qatar’s construction sector. We diversified further in 2005 with the creation of Watania Company, providing logistics and transportation services to strengthen Qatar’s supply chain and ensure economic resilience. Our entry into the food and beverage industry began in 2017 with Lapaz Batchoy, offering authentic Filipino cuisine to Qatar. This venture enriched the cultural fabric of Qatar, fostering appreciation for Filipino heritage. Our latest venture, Spice & More, founded in 2024, focuses on importing and distributing premium spices, elevating Qatar’s culinary scenesupport
